William R. May D.D.S., FAGD

Dr. William May received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University.  He then graduated from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. William May places his current focus on restorative and implant dentistry.  His education is ongoing; he regularly attends continuing education courses to stay abreast on the latest procedures.  Because of these numerous hours of additional training he was awarded his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004.  Dr. May combines a passion for dentistry with a sincere interest in his patients.  After having treated a lot of his patients for over thirty-five years, he likes to think of them as his family.

In his spare time, Dr. May likes to spend time with his wife Gincy.  They enjoy running, reading, and working in their yard.  He also enjoys playing with his five grandchildren, Natalie, Will, Miles, Sage, and Benji.


Kate May Kirksey D.M.D., FAGD 

Dr. Kate May Kirksey attended the University of Tennessee for her undergraduate studies where she majored in Microbiology.  She was accepted to dental school a full year early where she was the youngest to graduate in her class.  While at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, she participated in research projects that allowed her to travel to Orlando, Las Vegas, and Australia to present her findings.  She received the Oral Biology Award at graduation in May of 2008.

Like her father, she fervently believes in keeping her skills and knowledge up to date.  She received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2015 for completing over 500 hours of continuing education.  Her focus is on general dentistry and helping her patients to achieve a healthfully maintainable smile.  She also loves creating beautiful smiles with cosmetic bonding and veneers, as well as Botox and dermal filler.

Dr. Kirksey enjoys spending time with her husband Bryce and their two children Miles and Sage.  They love playing outside, running on the greenway, and going on family adventures.

Jake Ramsey D.D.S.

Dr. Jake Ramsey is a Cleveland, TN native and graduated from Cleveland High School. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business administration. While at The University of Tennessee, he was president of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and the Student Dental Association. Through these and other leadership positions, he grew his passion for serving others and being involved in the community. 

Upon undergraduate graduation, he worked at Southeast Oral Surgery in Knoxville, where he further solidified his interest in the field of dentistry. Dr. Ramsey attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. His focus is on general dentistry as he finds joy in all parts of dentistry. Dr. Ramsey places a heavy emphasis on being a continuous learner so that he can maximize the positive impact in his patients’ lives. 

During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Ali, son Baker, and golden retriever Winnie. They enjoy all outdoor activities and can often be found outside on a river, golf course, or any other adventure. 



Pam Hindman, Office Manager- Dental Assistant Expanded Functions

As a Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions, Pam has been caring for our patients with Dr. May for the past twenty-two years.  She received her dental training at Chattanooga State Community College and her Expanded Function Duties in Nashville, TN.  Pam also serves as our treatment coordinator to ensure that every patient understands the numerous treatment options we are able to offer them.

Pam grew up here in Cleveland, where she and her husband Roy met in high school.  They’ve now been married for 37 years, and she feels very blessed to have a Godly husband.  Pam and Roy enjoy spending time with their two sons Adam and Logan, and their wives Rachel and Amanda.  They are very excited to be expecting their first grandchild later this year!  Recently, they added two new additions to their household: Deke, a black lab, and Oscar, a schnauzer.  These two pups have added a lot of joy and laughter to their lives.

When she isn’t working, Pam enjoys spending time with her family, particularly in the great outdoors.  She                                                                 enjoys grilling out, going on walks, and vacationing at the beach.  She also spends a lot of time working                                                                     with outreach programs in her church.  Pam is currently the Children’s Director at her church and loves                                                                       spending time with her church kids.   She teaches them to “give God the broken pieces of your life; He will                                                                 make something beautiful out of them.”


Christy Payne, Dental Assistant


Christy has worked alongside Dr. May since 2000.  Like Dr. May, she has begun to think of a lot of our patients as dear friends and family.  Christy is a fantastic chairside assistant, specializing in implant surgeries, sedation procedures, and making exquisite temporary veneers.  She takes great pride in making our patients feel very comfortable, and loves to see a patient leave our office with a new, confident smile.

Christy is married to Chuck, a firefighter, and has two children, Kaylee and Tanner.  In her spare time, Christy likes to exercise, go camping or hiking, and spend time with her family.

 



Stacie Cook, Dental Assistant

Stacie has been in the dental field since 2008 and has cared for our patients for six years.

Stacie grew up in Newport, TN and met her husband Dustin showing horses.  She and Dustin have three girls, Caroline, Maddie, and Olivia, and one dog, Brodee.  Stacie is very active in her church Westwood Baptist, where she sings in the choir and Dustin helps with the sound system.  Her hobbies include dancing, baking, chauffeuring small children, and incorporating movie quotes into everyday conversation.  She is an avid M&M eater.

Stacie loves working with her hands, and she is very skilled at designing Cerec crowns and making temporary crowns.  Her favorite procedures are Smile Makeovers.

 


Jennifer Carr, Sterilization Coordinator

Jennifer has been an essential member of our office since 2019.  She creates a sterile work environment to ensure that our patients and staff have the best and safest office possible. 

.Jennifer is a Cleveland, TN native and attended Bradley High school.  She and her family regularly attend First Baptist Church of Cleveland. She has been married to her loving husband Steve for 22 years and they have raised two boys, Tanner and Matthew.  The true heads of her household are her two dogs, Ace and Brody. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and vacations at the beach. 



 Brandy Smith, Dental Assistant

Brandy was born in Illinois and moved to Tennessee at the age of four.  You would assume that she was born and raised in Cleveland, but alas, she has a peculiar love for unsweet tea.  She and her husband Jason were high school sweethearts at Charleston High School.  They have two children, Harrison and Madison.  Her son Harrison and his wife Sasha have blessed Brandy with three beautiful grandbabies.

In her spare time, Brandy enjoys hiking, kayaking, and babysitting her grandbabies.

Brandy has been in the dental field for 8 years.  She loves assisting and helping her patients through surgical procedures.  Her favorite though, is seeing a patients confidence change after they receive a new smile.



Jennifer

Jennifer Jenkins, Dental Assistant

Jennifer is a Knoxville, TN native, but has called Cleveland, TN home since 2010. She is a graduate from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Go Vols! Jennifer used to be a teacher in childhood education, but she recently obtained her certification for being a registered dental assistant and we have loved having her as an addition to our office. She chose dentistry as a career because she believes that a beautiful healthy smile can be life changing and is the ultimate confidence booster! Ironically, she is terrified of dental work so she is very empathetic towards patients that may be also be anxious. Her kryptonite is milk duds which does not help her fear of the dentist! 

She has been happily married to her husband Jason for 13 years and has two boys. She frequently tells people that the best gift her mom gave helping her was establishing good dental habits at a young age. Her mother used to say, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile!”



Mary Beth

Mary Beth Spencer, Registered Dental Hygienist

Mary Beth has been one of our dental hygienists since she graduated from Chattanooga State in 2013. She makes sure our patients feel relaxed and comfortable while receiving comprehensive oral care and cleanings. 

She was born and raised in Cleveland, TN and graduated from Cleveland High School in 2009. Her family includes her husband, Hunter, two children, Fletcher and Leighton, and dog Koda. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.




Madison

Madison David, Registered Dental Hygienist 

Madison David, Registered Dental Hygienist Madison is a native of Cleveland. She graduated from Walker Valley High School and went on to pursue a dental hygiene degree at ETSU.  As soon as she finished school, she joined our practice in 2020.  

Madison married her high school sweetheart Rob in 2021.  She spends her free time playing with her dog Mosley, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.  She loves spending time with family and friends.   Patients love Madison's personality and her gentleness.  She is known to make the cleaning process very comfortable, even for the most nervous of patients. 




Lydia

Lydia Allen, Office Coordinator 

Lydia is one of our front office coordinators and has been with us since February 2022. She was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, but grew up in Cleveland, TN. For the first two years of high school, she attended Cleveland High School before moving to Venice, Florida to finish high school. 

Upon graduating, she moved back to Cleveland, TN where she met her husband, Chandler. They were recently married in August of 2022. You may see him occasionally bringing Lydia her usual "Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso" (her favorite Starbuck's order). They reside in Cleveland with their dog Ollie. In her free time, Lydia pursues her passion for photography, which can be seen on her facebook page Faye Photography. She is very passionate about dentistry and photography, and enjoys using these to enrich people's lives.

 


Donna

Donna Fowler, Office Coordinator 

Donna grew up in Cleveland, TN. She is a registered dental assistant, but now works in our front office to ensure all things run efficiently and to greet each patient with a smiling face. She has two wonderful children, Logan and Shelby, and a lovely daughter in law, Daphne. Logan and Daphne have blessed her with a beautiful granddaughter that she adores. In her free time, she likes to exercise, travel, vacation at the beach, and ride jet-skis on the river. Her absolute favorite way to spend time is being with her children and granddaughter. A fun fact about Donna is she has a passion for ballroom dancing, especially the rumba and bachata. What she loves the most about her job is that she can play a part in helping each patient with their dental needs. It’s always a joy to see people walk out with a beautiful confident smile.




Natalie

Natalie Rummel Office Coordinator 

Natalie joined our team in June 2023. She is a Cleveland, TN native graduating from Walker Valley High School. She later graduated college in 2017 with a business degree and has been in the dental field ever since. She greets our patients with kindness and a warm smile. Natalie is very outgoing and you will often find that she brings joy to those around her. Her goal is to make sure every patient leaves our office knowing they are valued members of our dental family. In her personal life, she has been with her high school sweetheart, Shelby, for over 10 years. Together, they have two beautiful children, Harper and Hagen. Natalie spends her free time on the river, camping, and being with family and friends.
